What is "coding" a car?

What is "coding" a car mean and what do we do?

Coding a car is a phrase that the community uses to describe the changes that can be made to a car using software. These changes isn't hacking the car computer, it's simply reading the computer, seeing what can be changed and then making the change.

Many features are based on the region the car is sold in. For example, in Europe, the cars don't have the amber corners lit up as it's not required. Europe also doesn't have the iDrive warning screen that comes on every time you start your car. Some cars sold in other regions in the world have the ability to roll up their windows from the keyfob, and it comes from the factory that way.

We are simply enabling/disabling features already built-in from the factory!! We can also add factory options, such as retrofitting an OEM alarm purchased as a kit from any dealer or online or converting halogen headlamps to OEM projectors running HID bulbs.

Hope this was helpful in explaining what we do. Contact us for an appointment!
